Nominate today for the 2015 Public Oral Health Awards

Public-Oral-Health-Awards-logo-2015 Nominations for the 2015 Public Oral Health Awards are now open. The awards represent a great opportunity to recognise our talented oral health practitioners and the projects they have been working on throughout the year, as well as highlight the important contributions members of the community make within the public system.

There are four award categories and oral health professionals as well members of the public are invited to nominate those who have gone the extra mile for patients within Victoria’s public dental health clinics.

Winners will receive $5,000* to attend a health conference of their choice to continue their professional development.

The categories for the Awards are:

star of public dentistry

Star of public dentistry

Nominate an exceptional dental health practitioner who has helped to improve patient satisfaction and treatment outcomes and has encouraged and supported other professionals in the public oral health sector.

project of the year

Oral health project of the year

Nominate a project that provides the highest level of excellence in oral health project management and outcomes for the public dental sector.

public dental clinic of the year

Public dental clinic of the year

Nominate the clinic that shows excellence in oral health service provision in the public dental sector and has helped to improve service delivery at the clinic or in the wider public dental sector.

community oral health champion

Community oral health champion

Nominate someone who you think shows passion in improving the oral health of Victorians.  Working in or outside the public dental sector, their work has helped community members to learn about the importance of oral health or to access vital oral health services that they may not have otherwise.

*Not applicable for the Community Oral Health Champion Award.
