Dental Health Services Victoria (DHSV) has launched its new online careers website to highlight the endless opportunities within Victoria’s public oral health sector.

The website, dentaljobs.org.au provides vacancy listings and acts as an online careers page featuring information about working at DHSV, The Royal Dental Hospital of Melbourne (RDHM), and community agencies around Victoria.

It also features training opportunities such as the Certificate III in Dental Assisting Traineeship, the Oral Health Therapy Graduate Program, and the Victorian International Dental Graduate programme.

DHSV Chief Executive, Dr Deborah Cole, said: “There are endless opportunities within the public oral health sector. And whether you’re a dentist, an oral health therapist, a dental assistant or one of our many other team members, you’ll discover your full potential at DHSV.

“Our sizeable workforce gives you the chance to learn from specialists or to teach those starting out in an oral health career. Working with us also allows you to connect and work with some of the most talented clinicians and support teams in Australia.

“One thing is certain: you’ll share the pride and satisfaction of putting a smile on every patient’s face – whether you connect with them through our outreach services, domiciliary care, health promotion, Aboriginal Health Services, or in the clinics,” said Dr Cole.

As at 9 December 2013, vacancies listed on the dentaljobs.org.au website include four Senior Dentist positions across the Murray and Gippsland regions, an Oral Health Therapist at RDHM, and casual opportunities in the RDHM Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Unit.
