New LGA oral health profiles

Explore the oral health data for your local government area
Have you ever wondered how the oral health of your community compares with the Victorian average?
The 2024 Victorian Local Government Area (LGA) oral health profiles are now available.
The profiles include oral health data and risk factor indicators to give you a picture of your local oral health status and which informs public health and wellbeing planning.
The statistical profile of each LGA includes indicators relating to:
- potentially preventable dental hospitalisations for children 0-9 years
- tooth decay experience among children attending public dental services
- tooth decay severity among children attending public dental services
- proportion of daily smokers
- proportion of people who ran out of money to buy food
- water fluoridation status in towns with population greater than 1,000 people.
