Celebrating an MCG-sized milestone

Publish date:

Smile Squad recently celebrated a major milestone with a visit from Minister for Health Mary-Anne Thomas at Amsleigh Park Primary School.

More than 100,000 students have received free dental care with Smile Squad. They would fill the entire MCG!

Minister for Health Mary-Anne Thomas, Minister for Children, Acting Minister for Education Lizzie Blandthorn, and DHSV CEO Sue McKee visited Amsleigh Park Primary School recently to celebrate the successful program.

Big thanks to our partners Link Health and Community who are on the ground delivering these important services to Amsleigh Park students.

Since the program launched in 2019, Smile Squad has delivered 200,000 free initial and follow-up appointments to kids at government schools and provided more than 600,000 oral health packs which include a toothbrush and toothpaste.
