Dental Health Services Victoria is committed to being a child safe organisation.

As the leading public oral health agency in Victoria, the best interests of children are a priority in our work. We have zero tolerance for child abuse.

We provide training and education to ensure that everyone involved in the delivery of our services to children and young people understands their role and responsibilities in relation to safeguarding children and young people from abuse and neglect.

We are committed to promoting the rights of all children, and we pay particular attention to the cultural safety of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, children with a disability and children from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.

All children have a right to be safe and to have their views listened to and respected.
